Yet another case of "I'm glad this isn't my size, or it would mysteriously disappear."
This one was a true collaboration between design minds. Moni came to me with the desire for a dress to wear to a few special events coming up. I came up with a very simple red dress, with snap tape all over so that the hem can be raised in all sorts of different ways. Versatility & asymmetry goodness. After a preliminary fitting, Moni really took it to another level with the ideas of tattered black lace and all sorts of deconstructed details within the front & back panels. I'm so very pleased with the outcome. She really encouraged me to get out of the simplicity box that I tend to be stuck in. We call it a MoniTrix Design. =]

A series of Frankenshirts done for PerverseFixation.com. They were very fun to do & reminded me just how much I love the reconstruction stuff. =] & really, how often do I do a project and get beautiful photos within a week? Never. Except this time! Yay!

Yesterday, there were fun adventures in Southern New Mexico with Dave and tequiladaniels. I snapped a few pics between trying to get my shadow out of Dave's frame & looking out for wandering tourists. It was really beautiful out there! I wish I had taken an umbrella, so I could have walked around while it was still raining. [The idea of driving home soaked & cold with rain kept me in the van until the clouds blew over us.] I foresee more photoroadtrips in my future. =]

I finally made hang-tags & cloth tags! Nothing too spectacular, but it is something! now I just need to remember to sew them in while actually making the garment, rather than as an afterthought. d'oh!

A few selected items I have made are now available at Free Radicals in Albuquerque! If you local peeps have never been there, I can't suggest it highly enough. Amazing selection of hosiery! & should you ever be in need of custom made pasties, Nan is THE woman to go to.

Here are some photos of some regular t-shirts I reconstructed some time ago.
Used in the Vanity Exotique Fashion show.
Most [save the And One] are for sale/will be on eBay some time in the future.

Many thanks to hacked for letting me hack up his shirts.
