Seriously, 51 weeks with no update? Time goes fast.

So I haven't completely disappeared from the world, just the internet. Not such a bad thing, other than the year+ backlog of projects to post.

Let's start with something pretty, shall we?

The always stunning Miss Revel and I were able to collaborate earlier this year. The results, well, what can I say? So lovely!

Cybernetic Saint: Our Lady of Conductivity


More photographic awesome, and notes on what I've been up to for the past year, under the cut.



















The outfit is as follows:

-Velvet neck "corset" with satin lining, spiral and flat steel boning, grommets in back, and hand beaded detail
-Custom dyed blue silk dupioni corset [three layer construction with waist tape] with a mix of internal and external bone casings [all flat steel boning in this one, I think], and side lacing detail
-Long black cotton skirt with gathered mesh train



What I've been up to:

-Making corsets, of course. Many many bridal corsets [I still get the coolest brides!] which was how the lack of posting began. Wouldn't be so nice of me to post someone's attire before the date, now would it. Also, non-bridal corsets. No excuse for not posting those, other than the prevalence of black satin overbusts.

-Not doing photoshoots, cause I'm lame. Just haven't had the time, or the non-custom stock to shoot with [no time to make non-custom stock, arg!] Maybe the shoot bug will bite me again soon.

-Working on projects I can't post photos of! Oooo, secret! Not really. Film & tv projects. Eventually, my dear friends list will get inundated with boring photos [and some not so boring] and screenshots galore. If you happen to have Starz, and watch Crash, you may have seen some of my corsets in the Halloween episode. Wooo, big deal! I know, silly. They're probably on screen for 0.2 seconds, but I think it's neato. Haven't seen the episode yet.

-Making more corsets. And making things that are not corsets. Then playing some video games. Then more corsets. And bras. And tie-side panties. Then some corsets. The end!
